Congrats.
If you missed the Spirit Awards, well shame on you. Lynn Shelton won the John Cassavetes Award last night for best film made for under $500,000. Lynn is an inspiration to the guys at Winter Tree Pictures. Her films "Humpday" and "My Effortless Brilliance" are true and honest looks at friendship and human interaction. They are stripped of all the nonsense and bullshit you'll find with huge Hollywood productions. They prove dialogue, reaction, and facial expression can be just as effective, if not more than huge explosions and all the kid stuff.

Spirit Awards
Winter Tree Pictures would just like to wish one of our favorite directors, and Ben's fellow Seattleite, Lynn Shelton luck on her Spirit Award Nomination and we hope she wins tonight. "Humpday" was an amazing film and it's up for the John Cassavetes Award.
