"Meet Lou Zaldivar"

Happy Valentine’s Day.

I have nothing to do for Valentine’s some I’m home watching The Notebook with a bottle of vodka and a gallon of strawberry ice cream. As I was pouring the vodka into the ice cream and my dog was licking my toes, I realized I hadn’t introduced myself here yet. So here it is, or here I am. Whatever. I’m afraid I’m not much into blogging so Ben will be taking care of that mostly. I’ll pop in here and there with an update.

I’m very happy and proud to be part of Winter Tree Pictures. It is very small at the moment, but will grow with time. I meant the production company but it sounded like I was talking about my penis. This is why I can’t blog, I can never keep it professional. Penis jokes are what makes me… me.

Ok, that’s enough. I need to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Lou Zaldivar and I am 23 years old. I was born in Texas and moved around a bit before settling in Jersey (sad face). I’ve lived in California (OC baby!), Guatemala, and Florida [OC baby! (there’s an Orange County in FL too)] I moved up here recently because I needed to get out of Orlando and I wanted to be closer to New York City, one of my loves.

I attended school in the city at the New York Film Academy (NYFA). Damn, I use a lot of parentheses. I learned a lot in my brief time there and shot a couple of shorts you can check out here on the site.

Since I can’t just start making a living as a writer/director right now, I have to support myself financially by other means. I work at a bank by day and I strip for cash by night. Just kidding. I hate banks. As of Thursday I have started another part time job as a background actor (or extra, whatever you want to call it). I have only appeared in one show, which hasn’t aired yet, but I consider myself pretty much a celebrity now. Check out Law & Order, Wednesday’s at 9 (I don’t even know if that’s the real time). There I go with parentheses again. It’s just the vodka talking.

Another little thing about me is my penis. There I go again.

Take two. Another thing you might find interesting about me is my love for basketball. I am a huge NBA fan. My favorite team is the Orlando Magic. Speak well about them and you are in my tit list (it’s the opposite of my shit list). Dwight Howard, if you are reading this, holla!

Ok, I need to stop because Rachel McAdams is about to bang Ryan Gosling and I don’t have my lotion next to me. Oh, wait, the dog’s here. Hmm… Gotta go!
